Cook Shack/Concession Stand/Storage Building Completed in Fall of 2009
We were very pleased to have a concession stand completed in time for the festival. Special thanks to Gene Holtgrewe, Bob Hodges,
Tim Kiernan, Gary Boital, Norman Kottwitz, and Akers Home Improvement’s owner Jim Akers’ employees for supplying the labor
necessary to pour concrete and build the building. Materials were generously donated by Judy Hawkins, Luke Mathews,
Ash Grove Aggregates, Dwight Timmerman, and Danny Fergerson. Discounts on materials were given by Osceola Concrete,
Bolivar Discount Building Supply, and Do It Best, Osceola. The cook shack/concession stand/storage building will be a
tremendous asset when bringing groups in that need a place to cook. Money generated from concession items will be used to
help offset expenses such as electricity and insurance. |
